About South East London Touch
Our Club
South East London Touch is a touch rugby club for boys and girls aged 8-16 years. We aim to cultivate a love for the sport while fostering teamwork, discipline, and fitness in a fun and competitive environment.
Sessions are FREE for everyone
and we do not charge membership fees.
What is Touch?
Touch rugby is a fast-paced game requiring agility, speed and teamwork. Points are scored by tries but there is no tackling, simply a touch which makes it a low-contact alternative to rugby whilst developing fundamental rugby skills.
It is a fully inclusive sport played in boys, girls or mixed teams with a focus on having fun.

Coaching Team
Our coaches have a breadth of experience to ensure all players are coached at the appropriate level so whether you've never played before, are an experienced rugby player or somewhere in between we have the skills to turn you into a great Touch player!
Coaches include:
- Current England players
- Referees who have reffed at World Cup level
- Team Manager for England Girls U18 squad
All coaches are DBS checked.
Players
- Club: We train year round and have matches against other clubs over the summer
- Regional: Players showing talent are put forward for regional representation for South East Touch Association (SETA)
- National: Players can be selected to represent England
In 2025 we have 21 players representing South East England and
4 players in the England Youth Academy.
